Let’s celebrate our exceptional Educators of the Year at Carthage R-9 School District! Over the next few days, we’ll shine a spotlight on these inspiring teachers who are shaping the future of our community. 
 Join us in celebrating Heather Woodall, the 2025 Tiger Excellence Award Winner for Grades 4–6! Heather is a dynamic leader in our district who brings science to life through hands-on projects, real-world connections, and a deep passion for STEM education. Mrs. Woodall is a true leader in her building—serving as 6th grade chair, mentoring fellow educators, and playing a key role in developing and implementing the PLTW science curriculum. Her ability to spark student interest in STEM and inspire future career paths is a testament to her passion and impact. She not only teaches with excellence—she models what it means to care deeply for students and colleagues alike, making her a standout educator.
